Origins

Miniature-Schnauzer was first bred in Germany to hunt vermin, but now they enjoy most to hunt their squeaky toys. The Miniature-Schnauzer does not take up much space but needs regular exercise. They are quick witted and quick to learn, they rather enjoy any form of training.

Temperament and Features

Miniature-Schnauzers get’s much attention where ever he goes, because of his temperament and looks. He’s level-headed and courageous, very friendly, curious, intelligent, energetic and he loves people. It doesn’t matter if you are young, old, big or little. They accept everyone as they are, human, dog or other forms of life. The Miniature-Schnauzer is loyal to the family, but is open to friendship where ever he goes. They always get attention for their features. Their beards and bushy eyebrows get exaggerated in their faces and give them a comical outlook, like an old nice man.
The Miniature-Schnauzer does not shed hair and can be convenient for people who have dog allergies. Their coat needs to be brushed regularly and stripped to keep it harsh and wiry.
