Icelandic Kennel Club Dog Show October 2007

The weekend 6th and 7th October there was the Icelandic Kennel Club dog show in Víðidalur.

The show was spectacular and over 800 dogs participated. The Schnauzer judge was Kenneth Edh.

Our dogs did very well, all Merkurlautar-Kennel dogs got excellent qualifications. Merkurlautar-Hómer (Tobbi) was in first place in the "Puppy Class". "Best Male of Breed" was Merkurlautar-Dreki. "Best Female of Breed" was Daria Misurata who also won the "Best of Breed" category. We also sent a "Kennel group" which consisted of Merkurlautar-Dís, Díana, Bashima and Dreki, and we won that as well.

Icelandic Kennel Club Dog Show March 2007

In March 2007 was a dog show held by the Icelandic Kennel Club in Víðidalur.

There were many Schnauzers, never so many before which made the victory even sweeter when Daria Misurata won the “Best of Breed”.

Daría also won second place in group two and that is the best result Miniature-Schnauzers yet in Iceland. “Very beautiful female who can win anywhere in the world.” was amongst many favorable quotes from the judge, we are very proud to hear these remarks and get such good recognition.

This same show we got second place for breeding group which we are very proud of. Overall we got excellent remarks about our dogs.
